Do you have to call WDW if you want to pay hotel prior to arrival?

I didn't see a way to pay hotel balance before arrival on the website. Can this be done, and do you have to call? Thanks!

I always pay it ahead of time. I use a TA, so she handles that for me. If you don't see a Payment tab, you'd need to call. I *think* it may be something you could do via the automated system.

You should be able to use the automated system to make the payment. When it asks you to say what you need, I say “make a resort payment”. I just make sure I have my reservation number ready.

Do you know if Disney Visa rewards redemption card can be used for payment, too?

I just spent over 90 mins on the phone to do this. The automated payment system "was having technical difficulties" yesterday and today so I gave up and waited today. I guess I should be happy it was less than the 134 minutes they estimated! It's ridiculous that a simple payment can't be made on the website.
