Late October I'm going to Tampa to visit Busch Gardens. I've never been before and wanted to try something new.

Christmas + New Years week the whole family is doing a Celebrity cruise. Not a huge cruise person but I went along with it for the family.

Next year is Japan in November 2024.

We tend to mix it up but WDW is heavily featured in our rotation.

Outer Banks summer of 2022, WDW December 2022, Dominican Republic July 2023, Cruise November 2023, NYC for NYE.

2024 is still up in the air. On the possible list Vegas if phish plays the sphere (long weekend with friends my husband wouldn’t go), St John to visit a friend, Ireland over the summer, Disney in December? Need to make some decisions because vacation time is not unlimited.

Taking my daughter to see a close friend of mine in San Francisco in February. My friend hasn't seen her in 10 years, so she's excited to see her again.

April is going to be trip to Paris with a few days at Disneyland Paris with my husband and daughter.

Good choice coming to Florida, especially late October.

The most comfortable weather we ever experienced in Florida and the Caribbean was the end of October. It was glorious. Low '80's every day, no rain and bearable humidity.

We vacation differently every year, depending on available time and budget. We did a cruise as a couple in May, a family trip to a lakeside resort in July, and DH is headed to Mexico for a golf week later this month.

WDW every 18-24 months for the past 15 years. Usually the beach or a cruise the opposite year. Have thrown in Gatlinburg, Michigan, the Biltmore, and Vegas for shorter vacations, though.

We typically travel around the same time every year and to the same area. But not always staying at the exact same hotel and doing the exact things.

WDW: 5-6 times. Always in October and December with random other dates that work with our schedule
NY Tennis Open around Labor Day
DL: Once a year
Maui: Once and sometimes twice a year. Usually in early spring and always at Westin Kaanapali Ocean Villas
Palm Springs: Once or twice a year for tennis tournaments
San Francisco: Couple times a year to visit family
DCL: Just starting, but probably once a year in January/February

Do you work? Even in retirement I can't imagine that many trips in one year. And like I said, never had more than 4 weeks vacation a year when I was working.

Always 2 visits to MIL one for New Year's and one for 4th of July-usually just a long weekend.

Aside from that, no no recurring set vacation plan.

This year we've had 10 long weekends to various places for family reasons.

Hoping to plan an Alaska land and sea trip next year and my siblings are talking about our 4 extended families meeting up somewhere.

Yes , and I’m SO ready to break this trend. Since buying DVC, Disney trips have dominated almost all vacation plans. Sometimes we’d go to Universal, every once in a blue moon, someplace else like Virginia, Dollywood, but very few other places. Almost all since then have been family trips. I’m ready for a change. When our youngest graduates, hope to start doing more traveling, just my husband and me, hopefully to England. Would also very, very much love a trip or two out west to see national parks and some different scenery. My son says anywhere but Florida. Ha
We also travel only around school holidays. Ready for that to stop too!!

I don't have a set destination but my annual vacation is usually mid-May for my birthday.

We usually go to Disney in the fall or early December. Last year we were there on Halloween.
We were talking of going soon (we don’t plan too much ahead due to Dh job) but the dr. just told me my cancer just came back for the 3rd time so things are on hold right now.

We go to Disney and use DVC once or twice a year (usually twice) - these vacations may be alone or a combination of Disneyworld, Disney Vero Beach and Disney Hilton Head (we throw in beach vacation).

We have also cruised DCL many times - it has been a few years since our last one. We will consider DCL and another cruise line if we cruise in the future. We do consider cruises - " a change"/big trip.

We do take other trips or big trips like the one we just came back from - 2 1/2 weeks in Italy. (we skipped Fall Disney trip). These trips are every few years. They take a little more planning in advance and $$.

Since the trying times it's just been WDW, a couple of times a year. Before that I would take some solo long weekend trips to different places I could drive to or my son would go with me when he could. Hubby hates to travel. My son has an almost 3 year old now so other than to Disney, he can't travel with me any more. We do own a RV and we take it out 3 or 4 times a year, usually to wherever hubby has to go for work. We've only had it out for a vacation type trip twice. Again, hubby hates to travel. Until we got our little yorkie, we would take a couple of dive trips a year - usually one to the West Palm Beach area in Florida and the other to somewhere semi-exotic. After we got the yorkie we found we couldn't travel without her, she is very dependent on her people and can't be boarded or left with anyone else or she won't eat. Thus the RV.

I've never planned my vacations or go the same time of the year, although I did used to always take a trip the week of the 4th of July because that was a week hubby had to be travelling for work, that was before the dog. I'm retired now but hubby isn't so I'm thinking I might start back to doing some more long weekend trips again as well as the twice or 3 times a year to WDW.

*WDW is booked for NYE 2024 - we can hardly wait!

*Spring break in March is booked - my DD20’s college will be in the Melbourne, FL area again - we loved it there and are looking forward to returning.

*We are thinking about booking a cruise for our 30th anniversary in June 2025.

We go to a ranch in NY every year. I think this was our 25th year, this past summer. We go other places, too--we went to Hawaii last summer, did a trip to Europe a few years back, and had planned on a Baltic cruise in 2020 that never panned out.

DD28 joins us for a few days at the ranch, but she's over it. She's been trying to convince her siblings to try something new. Problem is, one of her siblings is autistic, 2 have anxiety, and the ranch is a fun, comfortable "known" to them. It might not be fancy or exciting, but they can relax because they know exactly what to expect. DH and I don't disagree with our oldest, but it's not us she has to convince.

We used to do WDW every year, with a couple Universal trips thrown in for good measure. But, since my kids have had a taste of international travel, they've completely lost interest in the mouse.

I go to WDW at least twice a year. I went in May and my next trip is coming up in a few weeks. I also to to Williamsburg, VA on some of the long weekends. I generally don't go any where else these days.

For a few years, I guess WDW was a regular trip as we’d get the urge to go back about every 3 years in the child raising years. They grew up, I went on one girls trip and realized that I’m over it. We do have a grandson now and another on the way. Maybe we’ll get an urge to take them at some point. It will be Disneyland though as Florida is a no go for me at this point.

Other than that, we take a big two week trip every summer but the goal is somewhere new.
2020- Italy was cancelled
2021- Western Michigan and Mackinac Island
2022 - Ireland
2023- New England
Thinking probably Scotland next summer.

We usually go somewhere for Spring Break with Nashville being a favorite but aren’t going anywhere this March. Instead we’re going to NOLA between Christmas and the New Year.

I don’t love weekend trips as they can feel too rushed but we have 3 coming up in October and November. Oktoberfest, Wurstfest, and then a concert/NFL game weekend.

We’ve never had a recurring annual trip or spot.

We don't really have recurring vacations, though we've been some places more than once. Lately we'll have a year where we take an international trip, and then the next will be to some part of the western US with national parks and outdoor things as our focus. We're kind of done with WDW, but when the kids were little we were going every year or two. We threw in DCL this year at spring break, because other than that, we're kind of limited to summer for big trips. But, with just a week, it felt really hectic (and crowded since everyone else has the same idea), and then we came home sick. So, this year spring break will be more lowkey. We'll also go places together with family, but it isn't some kind of standing every year same location type of vacation.

We do not really have any set plans... we know a basic timeframe for the summer and things start shaping up before spring.
