We plant one every year! I just love all the fresh veggie's that we get during the summer! :goodvibes

Yes, we have one. We usually plant tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers and that is about it. We have tried carrots but haven't had any luck with those.

Yes, we plant one, usually some beans, a few tomato plants, red peppers and cucumbers...yum!!!

We also have one, but it's small so not much room for a lot. Tomatoes are the big thing and like golfgal we also plant cucs and green pepper. I usually plant one melon of some sort, too. They spread and I always regret it since we don't get anything very good from it, but it's fun to see the melons growing.

I do! We've been harvesting broccoli and tomatoes since January. Now we've added cantaloupe, zucchini and watermelon. The melons won't be ready for a while but we've already enjoyed some of the zucchini.

Being originally from Massachusetts, it still blows my mind that I can work a garden in the middle of the winter. :teeth:

We've got tomatoes, Green Beans, and watermelon going. The peas didn't make it.

we did when i was a little kid. we had every kind of veggie you could want in our own backyard. we even grew our own pumpkins for halloween.

some day when i can afford some place with some actual land i will make one again.

I try but the bunnies that live in my yard get more enjoyment from it then I do! I usually try to do tomatoes and peppers. I have tried beans and cucumbers but had no luck at all with them. Carrots grew nice (I thought) but when we pulled them out of the ground they were short and fat. I think you need really soft soil for them and mine isn't all that good.

We're doing one for the first time this summer. I'm looking forward to it. DH can't wait to make hot sauce with his peppers :sunny:

We plant are planting a huge garden this year. We will have, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, peppers, pumpkins, zucchini, spagetti squash, acorn squash, onions, potatoes, beans, peas, lettuce, beets, and a few others that I can't think of right now. Our garden is going to be triple the size that it was last year. My husband is planning to build a root cellar so that we will have fresh veggies all winter. :goodvibes

I have a small garden that we plant tomatoes in, mostly bradywines, sweet 100s, and big boys. The other half of the plot is used to plant basil--lots and lots of basil.

I also have a seperate plot for herbs, and usually plant lots of rosemary, a couple different varities of thyme, sage, lavender, oregano, chives, parsely, dill, mint, and savory. Everything grows really well except for the parsely, but I keep putting it in every year anyway.
