Do you have a Phobia?

I have a severe fear of snakes, my toes curl up, I feel faint and nausea all at the same time. Then I get the cold sweats. I get all nervous driving down the road in the spring and summer around hear just waiting to see one on the road. YUCK!!!! :scared1:

Spiders terrify me..beyond the normal dislike of them..I literally freak out completly if one is near me.

I am also terrified of heights...I have that weird feeling like i will fly off the building or fall out the window. Cannot stand being up high. (but I love rollercoasters..go figure!)

You sound like me...
NO spiders. Nope Nope Nope.
NO heights, I refuse to even try ToT or any rollercoaster where you see how high you are.

I also have a fear of anyone putting their hand in the garbage disposal :rotfl2:

Ladders - don't ask. They just creep me out. Also when I was a kid the basement stairs used to totally freak me out. I would not go down in the basement if the stairs in a house didn't have the backside (?) finished. Not sure what that is called. One of our houses was like this and there was no way my parents were getting me down there. Bad, Bad experience. :furious:

I am afraid of spiders and snakes. I also have a fear of looking into a mirror at night (I don't know why).

i hate spiders. if i see one, i get hives. it can even be from just tv.

i start to itch and i can barely move. it's bad.

i don't like snakes much either, but the spider thing is what i'm more afraid of.

Lighting- I will get fully dressed in the middle of the night and sleep in the hallway between the doors so I am not near a window.

Planes- I have a fear one will hit my house. I flip out if they sound to "close".

Michelle - the last time you admitted this, I posted a photo of a fish.

Seems like we really haven't spoken since then. :teeth:

Mice are my phobia. I hate them!!!

I would rather have snakes crawling all over my body than be in the same room w/ one tiny mouse.

Head lice phobia...
once I thought I saw a lice egg in DD hair since there was an outbreak at school...turns out it was glue but I had the cleanest house on the street. All the bagged stuffed animals were begging to get out.
My head is itchy thinking about it!~

Dentists and ceiling/wall vents (although I'm OK with floor vents for some reason :scratchin ). The vent phobia makes it really hard to use public restrooms.

Okay - I think I just found my own phobia. :crazy2:

I don't think my phobia has a name.

I can't have my feet anywhere near open dark places without getting the heebie jeebies. Heres me trying to walk across a wooden deck at night with no shoes on :tiptoe: (there's no way my feet are touching the open space between the boards). And if you ever want to see someone walk on water...just wait until I'm in a pool at night and shut the under water lights off :scared1: :teleport:

OMG!!! That's me.

I can not expose my feet.

I've got to keep my feet under a blanket when I'm watching scary movies. Like the axe murderer is going to go for my feet. Wow. Maybe he would.

Okay I sometimes have a fear of looking into a mirror but thats because of my hair or makeup choices on any given day... :scared1:

I have a phobia of bees, I am such a wussy when it comes to bees. I have been stung before, many times and I don't recall it being THAT painful but for some reason I get very anxious and paranoid when I see anything fly by me. It's made me stay inside when I want to go out...a lot.

I also have a phobia of vomit/vomiting, not just me getting sick but anyone. I can't see it, hear it, smell it or I get very queasy and feel like I'm going to get sick myself. Just knowing that someone tossed their cookies in an area I'm in...it's over for me, I have to leave and will still feel sick for hours afterward.

Llamaphobia :teeth: Just kidding! Who wouldn't love an innocent llama?
Anyways, I'm not too scared of them but spiders freak me out. If I see them somewhere in the room I scream and get my om or dad to kill it- and I'm 12.

I was bit by a llama once. Still have the scar on my shoulder.

:scared1:

No phobias though really. I have a few fears but nothing totally freaks me out.

DH is lightening. He just secretly disappears during a storm. I always find him sitting in our basement with his rubber boots on. One day it was really bad (the lightening) he wanted to sit in our car that was in the garage and this particular day (summer) the heat was UNBEARABLE and then sitting in the garage...NOPE, DH, go ahead. I am fine in the house.

ME: UGH! Elevators! WILL NOT GET IN THEM UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY AND I SAY THE ROSARY THE WHOLE TIME WHILE SWEATING UP A STORM.

Small confined places...like bathrooms in planes and trains....NOPE!!! :sad2:

Birds...After seeing the movie "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" when Betty Davis served Joan Crawford a dead bird on tomatoes in that one horrible scene that did it for me....BTW, that was like 40 years ago!!!! No birds for me, EVER!

I never lock doors of restrooms, dressing rooms, etc...I feel like I will never get them open again!!! :sad2:

OMG, writing this all down = I need some SERIOUS help!!! :lmao:

Falling headfirst...well, maybe that's a fear...I can't dive into a swimming pool.

And doctors. Massive doctor phobia here. I think it's because every time I go for a well-being physical, they "find" something wrong and send me for all kinds of tests...all of which come back with nothing wrong. Or they decide I need pills of some sort :sad2: Just leave me alone. I feel fine.

Spiders! My fear of them got worse when one decided that it was going to take a shower with me. I hopped out of the shower and ran down the hall screaming like my hair was on fire. DH was laughing so hard he could hardly speak. He finally got some words out of his mouth and I nearly died when I realized what he was saying. You're naked and your standing in front of a window with no curtains! :faint:
