Even when I am at DisneyWorld in my hotel room, I can sometimes get scared at night when I am by myself. Since my mom drops me off when I go to DisneyWorld for like a week or so I am in a hotel room by myself for most of the trip and one time I was in the hotel by myself every night.
I will say that even though I can get scared if I am by myself in a hotel room at night, that I can get even more scared if I am by myself in a house at night
Totally off topic.milkabum said:LlamaphobiaJust kidding! Who wouldn't love an innocent llama?
Anyways, I'm not too scared of them but spiders freak me out. If I see them somewhere in the room I scream and get my om or dad to kill it- and I'm 12.

Bridges-- I hate bridges..the George Washington Bridge creeps me out. It is so bad I got sick one time as we came up to the toll booths as I watched a semi take out the front drivers side of someones car and he just kept on going...![]()
The Bay Bridge in Maryland scares the Bejesus out of me...It is just to high. I always am scared the bridge is going to collapse.... My hands start sweating and I feel like I can't breath....I know it is silly
And I used to be be scared to death of driving over bridges until my DD decided to go to college on the other side of the Bay Bridge.
I could ride in a car without too much of a problem, but driving was not good. Last December I was picking her up for winter break and I'd totally forgotten about having to drive over the bridge until the night before and I went into panic mode. Not good! When I got to the bridge it was misty and starting to rain, but I did it. I even drove back over the bridge after picking her up. I'm almost looking forward to doing it tomorrow. I can't have my feet anywhere near open dark places without getting the heebie jeebies. Heres me trying to walk across a wooden deck at night with no shoes on(there's no way my feet are touching the open space between the boards). And if you ever want to see someone walk on water...just wait until I'm in a pool at night and shut the under water lights off

I need a padded roomOMG, I read the title of this thread and thought, well, I'll tell about my fish phobia- nobody else has one of those. And right there, the VERY FIRST POST, is another fish-phobic!!DisneyMommyMichelle said:Anyone else here have a phobia?

I'm also a huge wuss trying to get up the basement steps b/c there's no back on them. I usually send the cat down first to make sure nothing is waiting to grab me.![]()
I also have enough stuff stored under our bed so nothing can ever live under it and grab me. I still can't put my feet down at night, though.
I'm also terrified of needles. I usually get really, really shaky and weak.
Wow, I'm up to like 6 or 7 things...I need a padded room
.

Mkaz said:Now that I have told everyone about my spider phobia, I guess I can tell you the other one. Honestly, I am not sure if it's an actual phobia. I really don't like false teeth! When I was around four years old my uncle took out his false teeth and set them on our coffee table. I guess he thought it was funny or something. It scared the snot right out of me. I freaked and got hysterical. Ever since then I can't stand it to see a set of false teeth. My mom has them and I got chills when I would see "the case" sitting on the bathroom counter. It's hard to believe that a harmless prank could do that to a kid.![]()
My great -grandmother (Tootsie!) took out her teeth and I had to be 3 or 4. I flipped out and hid under the table (this was my safe place
). My family thought it was hilarious but I was really freaked out. I had to get over it when I was a teen and had to get braces. Apparently I had a tooth that never came in and the ortho wanted to move my teeth over to eventually add a bridge. Once there was a gap, I had a nice little fake tooth on my retainer until I was old enough to get a bridge.
