I really like the works put out by Michelle Morrow and Randy Noble. How about you do you have an Artist that you tend to collect more of than any other?

I have just started to be more aware of the designs based on the artist. It is a shame we don't know the artist of many of the pins.

However, given that, I tend to like Randy Noble (partly because I met him and happened to have his yin/yang Mickey head on my lanyard and he offered to sign it for me!)
and also Martha Widener.

My favorite Disney artist has been Herb Ryman for many years. He's the guy who did the Disneyland Aerial drawing that convinced the bankers to give Walt and Roy the money for Disneyland. I also like his work before he was a Disney artist, especially his landscapes of the orient. I have a signed "show program", the signed/numbered litho "New Orleans Square, General View" and the latest book to showcase his talent, "A Brush with Disney". His concept paintings of EPCOT are amazing.

I also like Eric Robison, especially his Disneyland tribute to Herb Ryman. Got that one a few years ago at the Disney Gallery.

As far as pin artists go, I only know one so he gets my vote- Alex Maher. He's been a good friend of the NFFC and the Florida chapters for many years. My wife traded a pin with him on a bus from DL and he offered a pin she really liked but had never seen. Then he offered to sign it for her. She was a little embarrassed that she didn't recognize him because he had on sunglasses and a new beard. A really nice guy!

I am a huge fan of Eric Robison as well, but was clearly on the narrow mind set of pins...thanks for reminding me!

As far as pin art goes, my fav is Michelle Morrow with Randy as a close second!

Blessings,
Winnie
