I love to go w/their opinions..My Gas Range Oven just broke and thinking of buying a new one..

If you have this book, can you please tell me their best buys for a gas oven..thank u

well mine is from 2008 and it says top gas ranges
1.GE Profice PGB9203EM[SS] $1800
2. Hotpoint RB757WH[WW] $500 CR BEST BUY
3. Frigidaire Gallery GLGF386D $1,000

The GE blends performance and style. The low-priced Hotpoint broils superbly, while the Frigidaire incudes convection. Also conside the Jenn-Air JGR8890AD[P] $2150 and Maytag GEMINI MGR6775B $1450 if you value dual ovens and are willing to live with uninspired baking and broiling especially the Maytag model.

We have had our Maytag Gemini for 9 years and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dual oven. I don't know what they mean about the uninspired baking and broiling? But I like my oven.

I think I'd go find that Hotpoint or run over to Sears (Kenmore).

I would check into fixing your old oven. Not that pricy to do.

The main parts that go wrong on a gas oven are the oven igniter or the igniter for the burners. Both easy fixes.
