Do you keep a calender hanging in your kitchen? Did you pay for it?

I don't have a 2009 calender yet. I have always kept one hanging by the kitchen desk near the phone.
We usually get a free one at the end of the prior year but we haven't yet. I did look at one at the store the other day but it cost $13.95, so I didn't get it. I need one to keep track of appointments, important dates, etc.
I am wondering if most people pay for their calenders, generally speaking?

I make mine using the computer! :thumbsup2 It doesn't have any fun pictures, but it's easy and if I mess up a month, I can just print out a new one!!

Normally I buy one around Sept/Oct and start using it. I buy the 16 month calendar.

This year I waited till Dec. Won't do that again. Messed up some dates. I was using a free one.

I buy the "Mom's Family Calendar", normally.

I buy a calendar every year. I get the "Mom's Calendar". It has a pocket for papers, stickers for important events. I really like it. Usually it goes on the fridge, but it was larger this year, so I have it hanging instead.

Dh commented on calendars this week. The company usually gets gobs of them from their various suppliers and vendors and he grabs one for his office every year.

This year there are NONE! A sign of the tightening economy!

I did receive 2 small calendars, about the size of my palm. That won't cut it around here. :)

I used to live and die by my wall calendar. Now I have everything on the computer so I don't have one at home. I keep one in my office so I can glance at it when I am making appointments, need a future date or whatever. I have a golf scene one in my office that cost $2 at Walgreens. I used to get the large planning one from Current-it had lines in the date boxes for putting in appointments, etc.

A business associate of my husband was going to give him a small desk calendar and my husband was like I want a big one though. He ended up getting a huge fridge calendar with tons of space to write-love it! I also use an At-a-Glance pocket calendar for my work schedule. That I have to buy every year!

Yes, I have the WDW 2009 calendar hanging on the side of my refrigerator.

I love it!!

I always buy mine at the beginning of Feb. - the ones they sell in the mall are alway $1 by then ;)

Yeah, I refuse to pay over $1 for a calendar too. I got mine in the dollar bin at Target. It's vineyards of the world. I don't drink wine much but the pictures are nice and it looks good in the kitchen.

I usually buy one for my husband for his birthday but he hangs it in the kitchen. Last year it was "Nuns Having Fun". This year it is Vintage Northwestern (classic NU game posters). We actually use a google calendar for the important stuff.

Ooo, I've never looked at Target before. I'll have to check 'em out. Thanks ward.

I bought mine from Walmart in December. All there calendars are under 5.00. I always have to have a wall calendar in the kitchen and then a pocket calendar for my purse.

I have 3. I love calendars.
I have a WDW one hanging in the kitchen, a beaches on by the computer from the DIS calendar exchange and an M&M one in the bedroom that I just got at Michaels for 50 cents.

I feel so lost if I dont have a calendar hanging in the kitchen. The kids even know to look there to see what is going on. I save them too, this is fun if you want to look back and see all that you were doing years past.

I got a Classic Disney animation calendar in a Yankee Swap.

I'd like to have one of those. I'll have to look for one.

I usually end up with more calendars than I can use from businesses, but this year I am calendarless. I'm going to have to actually go buy one.

We normally get about 6 to 10 every year at work. But this year we have recieved none. I feel bad for the printers!

there is a great DIS Photo calendar that you can print yourself. I am looking for the link now.

That's the one I'm using this year, I printed January on my photo paper and it looks great!!:thumbsup2

Here's the link in case you're having trouble finding it (I saved it in my favorites last week since the search function is so lousy on here at times).
