Hate is a strong word. About as strong as love. But I've never misused either. I'm no worse a person than you are because I have hated. You all who say you've never hated someone, you're really very lucky people that you've never been hurt to the point to hate someone. And you're all stronger people than me to not hold a grudge. When I say "I hate them" I mean it just as much as I mean it when I say "I love them"

Very well said. One thing I hate is when people say that they've never hated anyone yet say that you love someone after knowing them for 3 days. It's the most obnoxious thing.

Do book characters count? I've hated plenty of those.

But really, no, I've never hated someone. It's too strong a word for me to use on someone who hasn't done something extremely offensive to me. I mean, there have been people who have peeved me, but no one has ever done something to make me so seethingly mad at them that I've said I've hated them.

The way I see it, everybody has good and bad points. If I focus on the bad parts of a person too much, I could be missing out on something really good.

Honest to death...I don't really hate anyone. It's select people I know that annoy me sometimes...but I don't hate them. LOL
