Do you Google or yahoo? why?

I have always done yahoo. Why do you use either?

I use Google because of its clean interface and excellent search results. If their interface ever starts looking like MSN or Yahoo, I'll have to find something else. (Anyone else been on the Internet long enough to remember the long downward slide of Altavista?)

As a librarian I was trained in my Master's Degree program that the two best search engines are Google and Alltheweb, because they use the same search algorithm. Alltheweb is better, because they have fewer advertisements. The way their search is conducted leads to the most accurate results.

I gave up on yahoo in the early days, because Google almost always gave me exactly what I was actually looking for no matter my search string; Yahoo gave me a mess.

I "dogpile", because it will check google, yahoo and a ton of other search engines.

I like the "clean screen" of Google, but I also like that Yahoo has all the up to date info right in my face, so I change off.

I mostly use Yahoo, since it's my home page and where my e-mail is, but I'll use Google from time to time.

Exclusively Yahoo. I tried Google and when I try to enlarge it for accessibility purposes, it zeroes in on the center of the page and cuts off the margins. Yahoo doesn't do that, so they have retained my loyalty.

I Google faithfully. They give me quick, accurate information... plus they decorate their logo for holidays (if any others do this, I do not know)! What more could you ask for?

I use Yahoo as an extra email and for games, but I don't search from there.

I don't know why. I just think google sounds better . . and it makes me think of silly things like googly eyes. Or is it googlie? Sorry. Long day at work!

I used to use yahoo all the time, because I had an email account with them. Now, I mostly stick with google because I have gmail and I prefer the layout with Google. Much more user friendly for the way my brain works.

I only use Google and to be honest, I am shocked that some are still using Yahoo and/or any other search engine. I love the Google toolbar too.
