Early in our vacation, we had FPs for Kali River but had to leave before we could use them. On the way out of the park, we had fun looking for a group of 5 that could use them and gave them away.

On our last day at the MK, we were entering mid-day and some strangers approached us to see if we wanted their Space Mt. passes. Our kids were thrilled!

What goes around comes around!

I did that for RnR last time we were there 3 yrs ago. We were outside the attraction and the pass was valid but my son who was 2.5 was tired - we were all tired! I decided not to go. I've never riden it so I plan to try it this time!:Pinkbounc

i always do... also, nearly every day, we found valid fps laying on the ground :)...

Oh yes, we do that also. I always love to make someone else smile!

We do it too. Actually we didn't even think about giving them away until someone did for us. The line for Pooh was 1 hour long! We had a 2 yr old who loved Pooh. The CM at the fastpass line saw us trying to tell our son we didn't have time to wait for an hour. DS was dissappointed but didn't cry. The CM came up to us and gave us 3 passes. He said someone else just gave them to him to give to someone else. He thought DS deserved them and we got to walk right on. It made our trip! I still remember DS going up to the CM after the ride and gave him a big, unprovoked LOL, Thank You!

DD and her family went to WDW for the first time last April. They had NO IDEA there was any such thing as a Fast Pass( They are taking me (DGM) in Sept. and of course when I found this out I went on the internet to find out all I could about WDW and stumbled on this site and have been content to "live" on here since then :teeth: ) anyhow, back to the story....their walking around and really wanting to ride the rides....but lines are very loooooong and with 3 small tots (DGC) :teeth: well, their beginning to get overwelmed...when up walks this lady and hands them a fasspass and explains what it is and how to use it...needless to say they quickly became fasspass experts and the rest of their trip was fun and "fast" ;) So if we have any extras you can bet we will return the kindness shown to them :)

It is one of my favorite things to do at Disney. We make a point to find someone at the very end of the stand by line and give the passes to them. They are usually speechless! Then they get the biggest smile you have ever seen and we leave feeling sky high.

We did this our last trip for a couple and their DD waiting at the end of the HUGE Pooh line  The look of astonishment and amazement still make me proud that I was able to do something so nice.

This trip I will be sure to do it again :D

We ended up doing Test Track using the single-rider line and the baby swap much, much faster than fast past, so as we were walking up, we found a couple walking in and gave them to them. They were thrilled.

We do this everyday before we leave the park at nap time (DS was 2) and everyday when we left the park for the evening. People we always so surprised and so happy once they found out what we were doing.

I think it is a great random act of kindness that we pass along while we are there. :D

This is one of my families favorite things to do. We always seem to end up with passes we can't use and my twins take turns picking out the people we give them to! They love when it's their turn to make some magic!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

There are not too many ways to make a person's day at WDW than to walk up to them and offer unused FP's. The look on their faces is priceless, and the fact that you have given them something that they can't buy is even more rewarding. We do this several times every vacation, and we feel great about doing it.

You know, I have used FP only once in my entire time at WDW. So, I really don't think about getting the passes for someone else to use. I am lucky in that when we go, it's usually value season and extremely low crowds. Mickey

I've often thought of this, I'd like to do it. Only problem is that I usually am in the parks solo, and I don't know if anyone would want only 1 FP. Do you think it's worthwhile to give away one FP?

We have done both. When we give them to someone we make them happy. :)

When we keep them, I figure I'm making it easier on folks in the standby line since they won't get interupted by someone using our FP. Nobody in the standby line thanks me though.

We end up giving away fastpasses all the time! Once people get over the shock of someone offering them *something for nothing*, their usually really excited!

And it feels good to make someone else so happy......:Pinkbounc

Last year my sister was to go with us, but then the night befor we were to leave she fell on ice and got hurt. :(
We had an extra MVMCP pass that we gave away. :)

Claudia1, Were you at AK on July 30? That's when someone gave us 5 FPs for Kali, while we were deciding what to do next while standing at the main info board on Discovery Island. It was the first day of our vacation, what a nice way tho start the week! We returned the favor the next day at MK giving away our FPs to BTMRR, so we wouldn't have to RUN to Chef Mickey's breakfast. My DH & DS went and gave them to someone near the end of the +45 min standby line. After that we never really had the opportunity, but will again next time we're there. :D
