LOL! I was just thinking the same thing reading through this thread! I cry at just about everything Disney and I always feel like a total dork because no one else is crying! I cry at parades, Wishes, Fantasmic, and mostly Illuminations, not so much at the beginning but more during the second half during the vocal music, We Go On totally gets me sobbing. I don't recall it having that strong of an effect on my the first time I saw it in 2000, but the next time we saw it was 11 days after 9/11 and the lyrics just seemed so appropriate. There were many people with teary eyes that night, and several people joining hands around the lagoon. It was a very powerful experience, and every time since then, I think back to seeing it that time, and I'm totally fighting back not just the tears, actually I don't even bother to fight those back, but I fight to not actually sob out loud. I also cry seeing the pure joy on my children's faces as they experience the magic and I cry when I hear A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes and When You Wish Upon a Star, especially when I'm with my dh and the kids because I think back to when I was a very sad and lonely kid, after my mom left and my parents got divorced and I would wish that one day I would have a happy family again and now I do.
