Do you fib?

My family gets together on Christmas Eve, and then on Christmas day everyone goes to the in-laws, my parents visit my mom's sisters, etc..

This year my boyfriend's family is going to be out of town, but no one knows that. (they don't know his family)

I am still telling my family we are hanging out with his family, but really....we're just gonna be watching movies all day and meeting friends for a drink at night!

Not such a bad fib, right?

No, that's pretty par for the course during the holidays. It's too stressful having to be somewhere all the time. You gotta have time to relax.
