do you ever start too many projects at once?

sigh....you can't even walk into my scraproom right now......I got so disgusted that I started painting the entry way last night. I thought a change of scenery would do me wonders. Of course, I am about 2/3 of the way done painting today and I find myself wanting to get back into the scrap room! Too many things going on at once....and of course, I'm expecting house guests tomorrow night.

I am usually NOT this way. Usually very organized. Maybe it's spring fever or something. Does this every happen to anyone else or are ya'll just organized all the time?

Happens here too!!!

MY DH is like Squid... gets too many projects going and in many different stages..
for instance.. got our entry way done.. so he moved on to our family room.. family room only needs the chair rails replaced around the couch area... a weekend job at best.... has the supplies..but instead has returned to the entry way because he has decided he doesn't like the popcorn ceiling and is "cleaning it up"... really, that was way down on the list... but now he is working on it.. I did give him and ultimatium today.. either the chair rail or the ceiling gets completed this weekend or wife is not gonna be happy!

As for scrapping.. I have like 5 projects going on right now... but there is a method to my madness and being swap free has allowed me to accomplish all my goals and many of my specific goals are being meet each month!!! I'm current w/ 2011 thru Feb.; I have 1/2 of 2010 complete... I have the kids' school albums going according to plan....

I have several 'irons in the fire' at one time, but I pick 'em up and put 'em down in sequence, not try to juggle them all at once. Home improvement projects - I want them DONE - cannot STAND the disruption in the household - and there are only two of us.

Tell me your company isn't planning to sleep in the scraproom!

oh my land no! I can close the door to the scraproom. They can sleep in the guest room.

OK -- I have a better mood now. Sorry I was freaking out before. We went to dinner for a real change of scenery and calmed down a bit. Now my DH is going to help paint the very high spots I cannot reach and I hope to be done painting by late tonight or in the morning. I know I shouldn't have started it when I did. It could have waited.......it seemed like such a good idea at the time.

i used to be that way all the time, but I gave up most of my hobbies/crafts/collections and only do the few that I really enjoy! much easier!!!

All of that in addidtion to my normal scrapping. I am always a busy woman, but I like all that I do, so I am good with all of my projects.
