Of course that happens, just like in real life. Once a question is answered don't think it's a big deal and sometimes I'm relieved when that happens to a thread that I've started because it means that it doesn't die before my question is answered.

I'm talking about conversations that are not about the thread. Everyone wants the question on topic discussed. The OP feels left out & I assumed she is talking about the PMing type post about inside jokes.

Oh I doubt we would be scared I like putting a face to the name. I think there is a thread somewhere that has pictures of some DIS'ers, I am not on it tho. My dog is cuter than I am, so that is why you all get to see her and not me

I realize that's what you were talking about and I know sometimes the threads can be taken over with off-topic conversation. I've still had plenty of threads with few responses and would have been happy for a temporary hijack so my thread didn't die too fast.

It took me a long time to figure out that I should not take the DIS personally. I catch myself every once in a while, but then I remember as important as all of you are to me, you don't know me from Adam. If someone or some group or some thread ignores me, it's their loss. They might never know how brilliant, witty and friendly I am.
