Oh, I love, love, LOVE nature!
We have 30 acres up north that we camp at, and I just love the wildlife up there. We see deer quite often, and have walked by brand new baby fawns at the side of trails. DH puts up a critter cam and we get some nice pictures of deer, and we got a good one of a black bear. He's been up by the camper some because we've forgotten to bring in the hummingbird feeder at night a couple times and he'll break it trying to get to the sugar water. And one time we had a finch feeder up and didn't bring that in, the next morning the metal shepherd's hook it was on was bent to the ground and the finch sock was about 12' away and ruined so we knew he'd been back.
We have lots of black squirrels and chipmunks too. Near us are some beaver ponds and we often hear loons over there. We have tons of different kinds of birds and I just love hearing them. There is nothing more peaceful than sitting by the campfire hearing nothing but birds and the breeze in the trees. Our property is at the end of a dead end road so we rarely hear any cars or trucks. It's wonderful!
We love going for long walks in the woods, and taking longer rides in our Ranger and exploring the area.
We've always gone camping, ever since we were first married. Started with a tent, then had a pop-up when the kids were little and now a 5th wheel.
We love having family and friends come up and share our place with us, and have them enjoying it as much as we do.
