Do you eat raw seafood?

No. I'm allergic to shellfish, and tend to stay away from all seafood.

I love sushi and sashimi. I am not a fan of most shellfish to begin with it, so I wouldn't be interested in eating it raw. I mostly only like scallops from that family, or clams on pizza or fried, haha.

I was in Wegmans yesterday and picked up a dozen oysters in the shell. Got home, opened them up and ate them raw. I've been eating raw oysters since I was in college. Im also a huge fan of nigiri and sashimi. The CDC says I can get sick eating raw seafood. I guess Ive been lucky. I'd eat more oysters if they weren't so darn expensive.
Not a big seafood eater here (raw or cooked).

I do eat tunafish, and, rarely, have a shrimp cocktail. Beyond that - it's filet-o-fish at McDonalds or fish sticks on occasion.

Cherrystone clams, oysters, ceviche, and of course sushi and sashimi are all a little bit of heaven on earth for the adults in this household. DGD is fine with ceviche and the Japanese versions even though her dad (my son) tells her it will poison her. She's aware that the only kind of fish/seafood he'll eat is canned tuna though.

For the most part, no, but it can depend. Sushi with tuna I can do - as tuna even cooked is usually pretty rare (just seared). Most of the rest of it I can do without, and I prefer vegetable only sushi or something with a little cooked fish, like salmon.

I love sushi, except for white fish. That needs to be cooked. And oysters need to be steamed or charbroiled. With Krystal and saltines. :lovestruc

I will say, I've never shucked oysters at home. I've cooked clams and mussels, but not done raw shellfish, only eaten that at restaurants.

I don't, but my husband will gladly. People think I am weird, because I don't really care for oysters unless they are charbroiled. :)

Tuna, salmon, or mackerel sushi or sashimi yes, though I haven’t had any in years. I don’t eat shellfish or crustaceans.

I love some Sushi/Sashimi, and have some every chance I can. Used to love raw oysters as well. Then i got a bad one while in Florida, and ended up severely ill, including a 6-day stay in the hospital (my long stay was due to getting C. Diff, which delayed my release). Haven't had raw oysters since.. :(
