I'm in a mood. A few bad days at work and with the personal life not the best right now, the only things going through my head are a series of expletives. Out loud I try to work very hard not to do it around my son, but when it's just adults, and I'm in this kind of mood, the words just flow out like a regular part of my vocabulary.

Growing up I was around several adults that cussed, but my dad did very rarely. He said it was best to save those kind of words so that way when you did say the person you said it to would take notice of the seriousness of the situation. It's true also... whenever my dad said a swear word (I can only remember a few times) I shut my mouth and listened.

Fess up... do you have a potty mouth?

I try not too but when my Italian temper takes hold, watch out! :rotfl:
Thankfully though that's not very often. But then again, I guess it depends on what you consider cuss words. Some people think crap is one. ;)

I have a huge potty mouth. I've tried to kick it down a few notches over the years, but that hasn't worked. And it doesn't bother me in the least when others cuss (as long as kids aren't around).

Nope. I dont cuss. Im perfect. :rotfl2: im kidding. I do swear a bit. Mostly when im driving. I have a problem, I admit it. :rolleyes1

No, I don't.

But I've noticed that women who don't cuss are viewed as stuck-up or snobbish.

It seems that women who have a potty mouth tend to be liked more

I do but not at work, not around kids and not when I am trying to resolve a problem with a customer service rep.

All the time, except when I'm at work or around kids. **** is basically a comma for me. Pretty typical where I live.

When the situation calls for it, which is several times a day. I'm not bothered by it, they're just words, they don't actually harm anyone.

I am trying to stop, but I only do when I'm alone, or think I'm alone. I did today as I was pumping gas because it was absurdly cold. I didn't realize there was a woman on the other side of the pump. Whoopsie!

Not very often. I mean I say a lot of "crap", "hell"... An occasional "damn".

I do, like another poster said, do it when I'm driving. It's usually the same two phrases. One of which I got from my dad. Haha!

When the kids are around. **** is pretty much one of my favorite words. Thankfully DH doesn't care.

I curse only rarely, and only when under extreme duress.

I don't think that people who don't curse are snobby; I think that people who do curse as part of their regular language have no self-control, no class, and makes the person sound less intelligent. YMMV.

I DO say not so nice words in place of traditional curse words so it's probably just as bad.

"Son of a (insert word for prostitute)" is probably my most used. I say the "w" word(as my kids call it) a LOT.

Generally, I very rarely curse.

But when I play Wii Sports against my husband, I curse constantly. :lmao:

My family uses swear words as punctuation, pretty much. :rotfl2:

It's just how we talk... we rarely use it in an aggressive manner. :confused3

This happened to me at work a few years back. I said something pretty quietly but didn't realize the 75 year old owner was right behind me. After I said what I said, I heard "cluvsdisney, is that you?"
