Do you buy from Brookstone?

I love going into that store for all the neat gadgets but have never purchased anything. I was explaining to the kids that Brookstone carries a lot of things that you don't really need (you may want them though!)

No but my dh does when he starts his shopping on Christmas Eve and panics. He spends a fortune on stuff that nobody needs, or even wants, like that $100 pillow he got me one year

I worked for a Brookstone years ago. Everything they sold was crap...and I mean the quality. Nothing lasted more than a few months. But yeah...those massage chairs. Ugh I want one!

I went to the outlets in Kittery, Maine last week with DBF and his family...I think we all bought the little sound machine from the Brookstone outlet! And I've used mine every night since...I put on "summer night" while I'm reading, then I fall asleep to "thunderstorm." It's very relaxing. Best part...it was $99.95, but at the outlet, only $20! So if it breaks in a few months, no harm done.

I have bought a lot of their "cuddle/Nap" line. Especially prior to it being available elsewhere. The blankets, socks, and pillows have held up well.

I've put their frog habitat on my Christmas wish list. It's a self sustaining environment that never needs to be cleaned. It's the perfect pet for someone as lazy as me.

I have also shopped there in the past. I have gotten pillows, massagers, digital toys; etc. I've always been satisfied. Generally, when I shop there, I hit the clearance section. Their regular prices items are a bit high.

I bought my brother a ipod external battery this year. In the past I think I've bought small flashlight gadgets or those 5 n 1 tools. Never had a problem.


on the side:

I totally looked at those frogs for my nephews. I was laughing because it's such a boring little pond I thought well they have to have two frogs so they don't get bored and the sales associate said sometimes they wrestle um do they give you a girl and boy frog, maybe a little too much nature? But who can really tell if a frog is happy. I didn't buy them cause I didn't want to have to deal with them for the month prior to christmas.

I bought the Nap robe from Brookstone. I LOVE it! It has lasted me three years so far, and I wear it EVERY day! It is wonderful!!!!!!!!! So comfy!!!!!!!
