Do you bring water bottles or Gatorade into the parks?

Thanks for the tips on the funtainers!! I will bring those with us for sure. Does QS or CS look at you with evil eyes if you're asking for 4 cups of ice water and nothing else? That seems like as much of a waste ad buying bottles :-( are there many locations for water? My family drinks a ton

Sent from my Samsung S3 using DISBoards

We never had anybody say a thing or bat an eye :)

Anti-bottles! They make them in slightly less fun designs for the grown ups, too.

Very convenient, don't weigh much empty and can be stuffed anywhere.

My objection to buying water in the parks is the waste. I don't buy individual bottled waters. It's lousy for the environment. Not that flying to Disney World is good for it, but it's the little things :lmao:

For a while you could get "bottles" like these at Target in their dollar spot. I like that Vapur has the little "sweaters" for the bottles though, thinking about purchasing one of those to keep the water cooler and my stuff dry! I suggest checking ebay for a cheaper price on the actual bottles, I've seen some 16oz ones on there for $5.

No.
We just buy what we need in the park or better we have the dining plan and have more than enough snack points. We left with more than 70 snack points unused.
I don't get this whole schlepping if food or drinks into the park.
We all pay thousands of dollars to go to Disney and than we need to be cheap and schlep tons of food on youre back????

We are comfortable, but we could never waste that many $$$'s on unused, but paid for, snack credits  Why use the DDP? It would have been lots cheaper to pay oop, but to each their own. :confused3

I bring water into parks as I hate warm water, don't care for taste of Fl water and I HATE Dansi water taste. I get my fair share of CS water but in DHS especially i found very few CS places when I want them , plus at least twice I almost passed out d/t waiting my turn to order water.

No reason to since they sell bottled water in the parks.

Dasani is locally-bottled, filtered water. Exactly what they have at the parks. We prefer Zephyr Hills water to Dasani any day.

I once bought 3 bottles of water on our first day, when the Halloween party was scheduled for that day, and we were broiling while waiting for the parade. It was $10. At that time it was well worth it; we had bought waters at Costco that day, but it wasn't cold yet.

It wouldn't be worth it in the future.

I don't get this whole schlepping if food or drinks into the park.

You have exactly what you want, right there on your back.

We have an Igloo brand, MaxCold, backpack cooler. Easy for us to carry, even for DS to carry. We put our water and/or VitaminWater bottles in there and don't have to wait for refreshment when we want it. The backpack gets lighter as the day goes on, and we've never regretted carrying it with us.

We bring frozen water bottles....we have been going in August lately and cold bottles don't stay cool enough for long! I wish they sold frozen bottles of water....we also take advantage of water from cs.

on our last trip, we bought bottles of fiji water at the airport after getting thru security. the square bottles fit perfectly in my small soft sided lunchbox/cooler. we brought mio and the kids enjoyed "mixing their drinks"each night before bed and we'd put them in the freezer. worked great for us!
