Absolutely! My children would have been seriously injured without them!
My DS was a month away from going into third grade and he was at Vacation Bible School. Well, the heat was too much for the kids to do games outside, so they played a Run River Run game inside one of the big classrooms. He had his turn, then went to get back in line and he thought the sliding glass door was open, so he flew head first through the sliding glass door.(he said, "their sliding glass door is much cleaner than ours!) This door WAS NOT safety glass, but plate glass. This little boy got through this with only two big cuts, nothing that required anything more than stitching up and repairing one tendon on his big toe! The door had a circle blown out of it by his body and nothing fell down onto him!
My DD1 was coming down the stairs one evening. Somehow, she was holding onto the banister with her body leaning over and she flew over the banister and fell eight feet to the floor below. This little girl only got one bruise on her arm, plus a ride in an ambulance duct taped on a back board and c-collar and spent the night in the ER checking her out!
My DD2 was 26 months old and she and her big sissie (she was five at the time) went out in the back yard for the first time after the winter. It was our first warm spring day and stupid me had NO IDEA that stupid daddy left the ladder out by the back of the house. I heard aluminum noises and I ran out there to see what was going on and DD2 was sitting on the edge of the roof dangling her legs off the edge! I yelled to her not to move and I sprang up there and got her off the roof. DD1 told me, "I tried to get Mandy off the roof. I told her to jump down and I would catch her but she would not listen!" Thank goodness she did not listen!
I believe in my heart that Angels were there during each of these instances to protect these babies of mine! Personally, I believe the Angels are my father and FIL, both out there taking care of the grandbabies! My DD2 swears that she has seen both grandpa's in her room while she sleeps.
