Just a quickie - finalising all our plans now - and have decided we want to eat at The Rainforest Cafe at AK when the park closes.

What are our chances??

Should we have booked this PS 90 days out?

Also - we havent booked a FDP either!! We are prepared to queue for however long it takes!

And we plan to go to MGM on Mon 25th Oct - what time should we start queuing on this date?

Any advice please!!

Lots of people may have the same idea as you, to eat as AK closes so you may have a long wait for a table. Best to book IMHO.

We had a FDP in December at Hollywood and Vine. It was really great food and a much shorter walk to the Fantasmic area. We could have got seats without much bother but the whole package was excellent - especially as you have to eat anyway.

We did the Fantasmic show for a second time between Christmas and NYE when the parks were really busy. You will know when to start queuing as you will not miss the very long line that forms near the Tower of Terror.

We were planning to do this too.
Last time we were there we didn't book in advance - just made a reservation on our way into Animal Kingdom in the morning and booked for 4.30 that day. We could therefore spend the day at AK and eat on the way out.

hi lorraine, we booked a FDP before we went last august and as it was so good we booked another for two days later while we were in florida, i,m sure you could get a package at short notice, especially in october. it really is worh it, people start queing more than two hours before, the FDP takes the panic out of it, as you know you,ve got great seats and the meal at hollywood and vine was great too. enjoy your trip.

we joined the rainforest club cost $15.00 but gives you 10% on meals for 4 and you get first avalable table when you walk up to elephant only downside is that they dont send the plastic membership card overseas but they will honner the paper one we have had ours for 2 years
