Do we know when the additional fastpasses will start?

They said CMs told them it was coming in the next few weeks. We are there April 26th-30th so I am hopeful

I wonder if the CM's actually know themselves at this stage.

Well, there was someone this week with a "green" FP+ available in their booking, but they couldn't do anything with it.

I am guessing this was a glitch hinting at the roll out.

We can't really know when this will happen. They literally could do this overnight .... But I would guess they are going to wait until the Spring break crowd die down, then introduce this, and monitor how if functions through May, The crowds in may build week by week, its a perfect chance to see how a change has an impact during different crowd levels.

By the third weekend of may, with Star Wars weekends you start hitting 8 and 9 crowd levels in the parks, and this builds from 4s and 5s to start the month.

I have a feeling that is what they will be watching.

Of course, this would also be great for us since our trip is may 2 - 16 ....

I'm hoping that you are right, we are also there at the start of May.

I've not really rearranged any of our FP's either. We aren't park hopping and we use RD so I just decided that we would do what we could early, book our 3 before our afternoon break and then just ride SB in the later hours.

I really hope that they allow for any extras to be made on the app, if I'm going to spend time in line at a kiosks I would just as soon wait for the ride I'm trying to get the FP for, I mean either way I'm waiting right?

Will it be just one at a time after the first 3 are used?

It just makes me crazy with all of the should I do this or that and the 2nd guessing. This is my 15th trip since 2001, it really shouldn't be this hard

I've decided ahead of time I would rather secure 3 good ones for times that work for me and save me time though, instead of pushing them to earlier in the day where they save less time and risking nothing worthwhile being left. Others have a different strategy and intend shifting theirs earlier. Really hard to tell until we get some reports of it in action.

I did my picks last night (60 day mark) and I was thinking the same thing. I stuck with scheduling them out to later in the day like originally planned.

No doubt. I talked to guest services yesterday and she swore the 60 day mark begins at 6am the day of. I told her too many of my peeps on the Disboards have told me its 12am EST day of and they know what they're talking about . She curtly told me to "stay up to midnight if I want, but you won't be able to get in." Sure enough at 12am est last night I was booking FP+

And don't blame her if you can't get up in time for work in the morning (or thank her if you get what you want at midnight).

I am here now. We are approaching the end of a 10 day stay. We have been limited to three FP per day. No more, no less. I plan on writing a detailed trip report when we get back. It's been a good trip!

I should have known better but I have just been informed that the room category I booked, might not actually have the view I wanted. Despite getting confirmation from 2 different CMs before I booked the room. And we are locked in since it is a DVC rental.

Im getting pretty confused on what times of day to select my fastpasses now I'm really not sure with being able to select another one at the park. Oh well I will just keep what I have already selected. I would say you better have your more popular rides already selected before arrival and plan on getting one of the less popular rides for when your at the park.
