I don't understand this cashless toll charges. Anyone?

There is no system in Orlando that is completely cashless from a tourist destination perspective (if you go off on your own to a different area you could find this). That said, I know Hertz uses PlatePass (note it's not Hertz that charges) and it is $2.95 per day for each of your rental days (even if the toll system is not used on a particular day) up to $14.75 per month plus the cost of the tolls. If you always use cash to pay the tolls, no fee will be charged.
