Do we call reservations for the AAA quotes?

I've read on here that people get the AAA rate by calling reservations themselves but when I called Disney last night they told me that I had to go thru AAA. How does this work?

If you are doing a room only ressie, you can do it through CRO, they will apply the discount if there is one available. If you are looking to book a AAA package then you have to call AAA directly. Just be sure to have your AAA # available in case they ask.

Thanks for the info...when I called last night she said everything had to go through AAA. I guess it was a misinformed CM.

Hi! As someone else already stated, for a room only CRO can handle it. If you are looking at a package definitely give AAA a call. I was able to secure a moderate resort for only $200 more over 10 days by going with AAA which was a savings of about $400 with a quote from CRO. I am so happy about being able to afford a moderate with this discount!

Thanks guys...I called CRO and got the AAA quote. I guess the CM last night didn't know what she was doing. It's not much of a discount, but 15% off the GF adds up.
