Do Under-3s count towards the guest limit?

Hi all,

My DF and I want to get married at Wilderness Lodge but we were wondering how the guest numbers were worked out? For example, do we count ourselves, and do under-3s count as guests?

Our list is as follows:
Me and DF,
My mum and dad,
DF's mum and dad,
Older Brother, SIL, plus 2 kids (one just over 3, one 18 months)
Younger Brother, SIL, plus 1 kid (2 years).

Does anyone know if we will be OK for the guest limit?

I was told by my planner that "every heartbeat outside of the womb" counts as a guest. HOWEVER...they do not count when having to pay for the reception. Under 3 eats free!

That was our original choice, and I was told the same thing. If it eats and poops, it counts.

Ditto! I was told the same thing for my Escape VR. I originally didn't count my nephew, he will only be a little over a year at the time of the ceremony. But I happened to mention it to my WP. And, yes, he did count for the ceremony, but not the DP, go figure!

So it looks like that venue is out then?

OK, just called and got my answer - Sunrise Terrace is a no-go. It looks like our only option will be the Gazebo at the Yacht Club as we don't need a space as big as the WP and all the others have a smaller limit.

Still, the pictures I've seen look nice - just a little disappointed about my original choice! How rude of my brthers to have children, lol.

What about Sea Breeze Point? It has no limit other than the 18-person limit for Escape Weddings (plus the bride and groom). And I've seen plenty of small weddings there that looked great!

The Escape wedding limit is 20 people including bride and groom. But the OP only has 13 guests, so no worries!

Thanks for the info - can anyone let me know what the view is of from Sea Breeze Point? I'm finding it hard to picture from the official site photos.

I really wanted a laid back theme and I'm not sure which of those two venues would suit this best?

Oh! Just to clarify, those pix are of Sea Breeze Point, which is on the path between the Beach Club and the BoardWalk.

It can be kinda confusing where everything is... you should have seen me searching for Beaches & Cream on the BoardWalk when I went there for the first time last fall!
