I've done a lot worse. You can't be blamed for not going out with him. I'd never go out with someone who I didn't really like. Its just not worth it.

You are definately not a bad person. You were just being honest! Think of what would have happened if you DID say yes. . . . You would be in a relationship, and leading him on when you didn't really have feelings for him. So, I think you did the right thing.
