I'm sure it's against the rules, and I don't want to get anyone in trouble but we are not big dessert people. On the dining plan....if you asked "can our family of 7 give up deserts, for 2 appetizers?" Something we should try or not even put our server in that situation???? We don't want to be rude, we tip well but would tip even better if our server agreed.....has anyone done this? I assume they are told to stick to the rules but we have had servers "fudge" for us in the past. Usually, it's in Disney's favor. We just don't like to have things go to waste.

Sorry no, this is one area NO ONE "fudges" the rule on.

They won't substitute an appetizer for your dessert, no matter if you say we will give up 6 desserts for 1 appy.
They don't give on this. To many people have tried with no success.

If you are not a dessert person or the majority of your group and are paying for the plan you may want to rethink it. If it is free and you don't get dessert fine, Disney is out and while I agree waste is stupid, they don't budge on this.

Some places you can get a bottle of water (CS) for your dessert, or even fruit.

Problem is that they are funded for dining plan based on the entitlements- and the receipt of what you order so unless they ring you up for 6 desserts but bring you an app (which would be fraud) they will not get any money for your app but they will if you order the dessert.

Ok.....we are cool with that. Just thought we would ask but at this point....we won't even put our server in this situation. Thanks!!!
