Do they sell camera memory cards in the parks or resorts?

Curious if it's possible to buy a camera memory card in the parks or resorts at all. I should have enough memory on the camera, but in case I suddenly run out, I'd like to know if I can get one there. I'm sure it'll be more than if I brought one I bought at home, but just need to know if they are available there at all. Thanks!

Absolutely! I was running low on memory card space in April and was able to purchase one inside the photo store at Epcot. You'll be able to find them at all of the theme parks and resorts!

It would probably be a lot cheaper just to pick up an extra card before you leave for vacation. Then you don't have to worry.

How much was it though? I'm going to assume maybe twice you would pay elsewhere?

So OP if you think you need more I would buy more at home.

I was worried about that before our last trip, so I traded in my 4G for an 8G before we left home. Best Buy had them on sale for $14.99.

I remember looking at the cards for a split second only to register how freaking expensive they were and walking right away. This was last January. I truly can't tell you how much they were, but enough that I'd recommend just getting one at home and bringing it with you. Think of how much they mark up household/toiletry stuff in the giftshops. I spent 3 or 4 bucks on a thing of chapstick because my lips were getting sunburned. I priced it at home, same product was $1.29.

I would agree with some of the others who said to consider picking one up before leaving home. I ran out of memory one time. Took one look at the Disney price and just decided to not take pictures for the rest of the day!

At magic kingdom, main street emporium has them, they are rrp so not cheap.....this time I'll be buying some cards before I go !

I take lots of memory cards with when we go. Last year I ordered four 16G Class 10 cards. I back up my images every evening. One afternoon we stopped at our resort so that I could drop off the heavy camera bag, have a shower and used the time while DD was showering to upload the photos onto my laptop and external hard drive. Grabbed the camera, got to MK and was ready to take a pic of DD at the entrance and ... ERROR (left the memory card in the laptop). I didn't want to lose an hour going back to get one so thought I would pick one up at the Emporium. $18 for a basic 2G card. We took the bus back and I wrote it off to learning from a careless mistake. I think I paid less for my 16G cards! It was just typical that I have spares in the camera bag but this was the one time in the whole trip when I decided to go light with just the camera.

Buy them before you go if you can and keep a spare with you just in case

I bought one in the gift shop at Pop in April for $14.99 for an 8GB card so not much more than other stores if you really need one. I got down there and my camera didn't have a card in it AT ALL! and didn't have one in the case either!

I saw the cards in a camera store last year, they were really regular expensive. I would just pick up several at Walmart, or probably even less at Amazon before you go.

This exact thing happened to me last year, and I paid the same price at the Boardwalk general store.

In December, I bought a new memory card from home and it didn't work. I had to go off site to buy a class 6 card. throughout the week, I checked all of the parks and the resort (AKL) and the only cards that they had were class 2 or 4. If you have a camera that needs a higher class card, make sure that you have back ups. I was surprised that they sold film but not fast cards. Who uses film these days?

We paid about $20 for a 2 GB card last year (would have cost me under $10 at home). And of course then never needed it. LOL But I was worried when I realized on our first day that all of our cards were full and we had never made CD's of them so that we could just delete the pics. I freaked out and made DH buy a new one and then we never took as many pics as I thought we would. Oops! :confused3
