Do they have the penny rolling machines on the Magic?

My DD's started collecting the rolled pennies that you can get at WDW. Do they have the penny machines on the Magic?

They used to but not anymore. Due to the ships being "cashless" I guess not enough people had the needed change to squash their pennies!

Aww.. that's too bad. Looks like I don't need to take that roll of quarters and pennies after all. Thanks for the info!

I have a pressed quarter from our very first Disney Cruise, but that was in early 2000. They don't have them anymore.

I wonder why they wouldn't put some in the terminal at port if they don't want to put them on the ship. I bet that they would get a lot of use.

I could be wrong, but I thought that they did indeed have the pressing machines at the terminal?!?!

ThreeCircles, I will check that out when I go in a couple of weeks and see if they have some in the terminal.
It would make sense if they did, but I have never seen them. I will ask, if I don't see them.

We never saw one in the terminal or on the ship.
Too bad - "squish pennies" - as we call them - are a super cheap and fun thing to collect at Disney! The machines are everywhere in the parks and at the resorts!

I sure hope they do, my DS will be very disappointed otherwise.

Don't be fooled by the cost, at first sight though. We too thought this would be a great thing....as it's not very expensive at all. However, after a couple trips to WDW, and a few mini vacations to other places......we've now had our blinders removed. Everywhere we go, we see these machines....even in some of the themed restaurants. My DS will run over to us (DH and myself)...."I need quarters and pennies, hurry, hurry, hurry!" Other children are looking, and their parents are looking at him like he's crazy or he's lost his mind. It's quite funny actually. Needless to say we have quite a boit of money wrapped up in those little books he has!
