When we are going we are going for our wedding anniversary... I guess it can't hurt to mention it at check-in, right?

Right. It can't hurt to mention it. If nothing happens, then at least you tried, right? But, I've read that if you mention it when you get there, or in the parks you might get a little something extra. It's worth a shot.

Just keep in mind that many many people every day are celebrating some special occasion when they go to WDW.

It seems like a lot of people here get something special when they go but most people aren't going to post they got nothing special.

So you can mention it but if it happens just chalk it up to a little magical pixie dust from WDW.
