I played with a very busy wedding band for about 15 years. Then came "The Hustle." I hated that song. It was (is) just plain boring to play. Between that song and a hefty overdose of "Daddy's Little Girl" and all that other wedding crap, I switched to playing oldies and country in bars for half the money, but twice the fun. Maybe I'm just an old fogey, but I truly believed "The Hustle" and disco in general destroyed several generations of music. Just my opinion, though.

My sister learned to do the Hustle in High School gym class of all places(back when it was cool). She MADE me learn how to do it. I almost broke out in dance at POP when all the Cafeteria CM's danced it at 6pm. DH threatened me not to though.

FTR, my sister is much much much older than me.

Apparently, this jail prisoners has an option of "group dancing" AMAZING choreography!!!!! Check out "Thriller" (20 million hits) and others too from this link. Wished other prisons had this dancing class.
