Do people *really* plan their counter service meals?

Maybe I'm crazy but for CS meals I just plan on "eating whatever is available when we get hungry". Do a lot of people really plan CS with the park tour?

Just curious.

I barely make adr's for TS anymore (and yes, we eat 2 TS a day) let alone plan cs. We're the "what should we do today" type of disneyites.

When my DSis and I go, we just know what we like and we share just about everything so we can eat more of a variety that way. We enjoy eating. For example, we start out with French Toast Loaf at Main Street Bakery, make our way to the Figaro Fries, then over to Cosmic Ray's for the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes. We each get our own strawberry swirl from the Enchanted Grove though! Too yummy to share with someone. Must split a hotdog from Casey's. Oh, and don't forget the popcorn! I'm sure I've missed some things, but that's a start.

When my DH and I go, I don't get as much of a variety because he is not really into sharing. He wants his own!

We don't really plan it, but we know where we like. For instance we LOVE Flame Tree BBQ over in AK, so we make a point to eat there when in AK.

We arent planning our CS but I am reading reviews and looking for the ones that are highly recommended - so if we see them and we are hungry we can grab a bite... I am hoping to try a lot of different places and use our credits and share meals so we can eat at more places!!!!!

Well I am not planning really but I do know there are only a handfull of places that my one DD will eat. She has PDD and textures are a huge thing for her and being that I want her to have some variety there is only a hand full of places she will eat soooo we have to kinda plan so that we are near one of them around the time I know the kids will get hungry. Now if they would add some more variety to the kids meals or if it was totally possible to get a adult meal for my DD to share with one of my others who will eat anything then we would totally wing it.

I have planned our TS meals but honestly, I havent given our CS meals a second thought. I do know that we will go to the Pizza Planet. I just figure we will have our CS meals when we find the time to have a lunch break, but TS for dinner will be planned!!

I do what most people do know the places where i want to go but dont set dates i have a dietary issue so its important Usually people have reasons!

Meeee. I am a plan freak when it comes to vacations and such since I have such a large family, so I did plan our CS, but I'm sure we'll end up playing it by ear when we are there. It's just nice to see it written out as a backup.

But no washroom breaks....YET!

No, we don't plan CS meals. We know our favorites in each park and just head that way when we start getting hungry.

I make one TS meal per day. Aside from that particular meal, I have no idea where we'll be at mealtimes.

We sort of plan them.

We already know what we want to eat before we get there but we just don't know what days.

Sometimes we decide if we want to go to Epcot at night or the MK depending on what food we want to eat for dinner.

we do, somewhat - if we've got a lunch ADR in one park, we'll plan to have a CS dinner in that same park (and will have already chosen which CS) - same thing if we have a dinner ADR - lunch that day will be CS in same park usually - only exception is wednesday night turkey dinner in the Pop food court - surprisingly good!

We don't really here. We generally end up at the same places though like how one day at MK we will end up eating at Columbia Harbor House & we know we will generally always eat breakfast at our resort's CS.

On most trips so far I have listed what counter service I would like to eat at that day... so far out of the whole list we have hit one on the day I wanted.

the Hotel Food Court on arrival day... we do get to that one. The rest as we walk by on the way to the next ride I look over and think hummm I was going to eat there today guess not.

This trip I would REALLY like to hit teh Sandwich place in Downtown think we will??? probably not

We don't plan them, we just eat wherever is close when we get hungry. There are a couple though that we like that we try to get to, sometimes we can get to them sometimes not.
