Okay, Newbie to WDW here, only one trip so far, but WHY doesn't everyone use CRO or Disney Travel. I will SWEAR to you that I have had BETTER if not the BEST pricing and also service from them. I just don't understand, give this newbie some schooling. . .

Many do but those of use who use agents do it for the convenience. CRO will not tell you when there are deals and codes, you have to ask. They won
t watch your reservation and change it to the best price when a code somes out, they won't call on your 1800 day window and make your ADRs for you. CRO is fine for basic stuff but if you want someone to really watch out for you you need to either spend a lot of time yourself or have a good TA taking care of you. I work full time and can't spend hours on the phone trying to apply a discount.

Another good reason for me to use a Disney specialist travel agent: It was cheaper! I saved an extra 100.00 over what Disney quoted me, exact same rate/room.

I love the actual planning of all the events and meals of our WDW vacations - I hate being on the phone (I get enough of that at work). My DU agent, whom we have used since 2002 and for 7 WDW trips (including our upcoming trip starting Saturday), is wonderfully helpful and responsive. ADR's are made and sometimes changed, discounts are checked for and applied whenever possible, and questions are answered promptly. WDW pays the agent's commission, so it's no extra money out of our pockets. With such an expert on my side, I've never had a problem!

OP, I'm so glad that wonderful CM was able to help you. Now you can look forward to a beautiful honeymoon with no worries!

I am using Smallworldvacations and thus far my TA has been fantastic and a delightful person to chat with. I don't see SWV mentioned alot on these boards. Do most people prefer DreamsUnlimited?
Just curious.
