To begin with we need to stop calling it a "fanny pack"! No self respecting man would wear something refered to in this way and as for me I have enough fanny packing! A waist pack for women is ok - but we prefer a waterproof, lightweight backpack. We take turns shouldering the burden as it were - (even the kids)!
