Do I tip the roller skate girl at Sonic?

WOW... so much for it being a higher paying job! If he is making that, it is definately a tipped position! I have always tipped there, my in-laws will not, as they feel it should not be a tipped position. I will share your DSS wage info with them!

I believe it all depends on the store, whether they are franchised or not. The workers here get almost $7.00 an hour. To me that would constitute not tipping.

This is also a state thing. Georgia, where some of you live, has a lower then federal minimum wage, $5.15. Oregon, where I live, has a higher then federal minimum wage. People make $8.40 an hour here on minimum wage that is much different then other states. Seems silly that people are doing the same job but get paid less state to state but that's the way it is.
