Do codes ever apply to Deluxe hotels?

Seems like the recent discounts either don't apply to the monorail hotels or have been minimal availability. Waiting on VISA to come out, but not getting my hopes up.

DH is not coming this trip so I'm needing to stay at a monorail resort with the little boys. Booked with AAA at GF but would switch to Poly or Contemp, but no avail with current codes.

Yes, I got a 30% general discount last year at the Poly (general code).

Last year I got the discount for a GF GV room through DV. Saved $550. This year nothing for the CR, but the resort is sold out on my dates.

The Poly isn't sold out for my dates but it IS sold out at the discounted rates. I really miss last year's 40% discount!

I've gotten discounts at the Poly for every trip we've taken - if I don't get a discount this year it will be the first time I pay rack rate.

saratoga sprigs and old key west are at about 2600 for a 6 night (2A, 1J, 1C) w/hopper, no dining in Nov.

I have the MYW with dining package, so I used QXD.

ETA... I have a Disney Visa, but my mom is paying for this trip so it was on her CC.

We have a 30% discount for 3 rooms at WL next week and a 40% discount for the other 3 rooms! All in all, I think we saved a few thousand dollars. $4k maybe.. ?

I wanted to add that my mom saved about $400 on her CR ressie for Nov 28 through Dec 2.

We usually go late Nov/early Dec and stay at the Poly. Although I've always been able to get AP rates, I didn't last year and I didn't again this year. I couldn't even snag a AAA discount this year! I also took a girls trip to the Poly last Feb/value season, and I didn't get anything then either.

Staying at Poly Dec. 13-19. AAA rate was a little better than this code which is pretty bad because AAA is 15% off rack.

My TA with AAA talked to two different CM's this morning to try and get us the code. The first one just said it couldn't be used for our res. but the second one was trying everything and said the entire two weeks surrounding our trip were "blacked out" on her computer screen. We're staying at the Poly Dec. 6-13 which I thought was one of the main times this discount was going to be for, but what can I do???
