Ok, so I've been away for a while because....*gasp*, my new husband and I just bought a new house and we don't have internet yet. So my question is....I booked our honeymoon for 9/19-9/30 with the free dining code.

We have 10 day park hopper/water parks and more passes, and are staying at CSR....total amount: $2700.

What I'm wondering is that we have the Disney Visa, and do any of the recently released codes provide a better offer then what I have, or has anyone else gotten a better rate with a new code, and gave up their free dining?

Any info would be great!

Thanks!

Sorry I don't have the Disney Visa so hopefully someone else will check those for you but here's what the WDW website prices it out at right now using the codes there - BTW "King Bed" was the only choice for the room on the website:

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Check In September 19, 2008
Check Out September 30, 2008
Staying for 11 nights, 12 days
Adults 2 Children 0
Room Type King Bed
Tickets 10 Day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper® and Water Park Fun and More Options
Package Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining
Special Rate August to September Magic Your Way with Dining
Total $3,156.54

Room Only Code adding tickets (you'd pay for meals OOP)
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Check In September 19, 2008
Check Out September 30, 2008
Staying for 11 nights, 12 days
Adults 2 Children 0
Room Type King Bed
Tickets 10 Day Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper® and Water Park Fun and More Options
Package Magic Your Way Package
Special Rate August to September Magic Your Way
Total $2,320.76

Room Only Code (again, you'd have to pay out of pocket for dining AND add tickets)
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Check In September 19, 2008
Check Out September 30, 2008
Staying for 11 nights, 12 days
Adults 2 Children 0
Room Type King Bed
Tickets None
Package Room Only
Package includes Special Rate August - September Room Only
Date Rate per Night
Fri, Sep 19 - Sat, Sep 27 $ 125.00
Sun, Sep 28 - Mon, Sep 29 $ 165.00
Price Summary Total $1,455.00
Tax $181.91
Total $1,636.91

By the time you add tickets to the $1636.91 room only, you would hardly be saving much. For example, if you are a AAA member they have the Non-FL res 10 day PH with WP&M @ $305.75 = $611.50 for 2 (w/o shipping)
UCT has the same @ $327 including tax and s/h = $654 for 2

So room only plus AAA tickets = $2248.41 and you pay OOP for your meals
Room only plus UCT tickets = $2290.91 and you pay OOP for your meals.

JMO but I vote keep what you have now because I imagine you'll eat way more than $400 worth of food in 11 nights at Disney prices!

I think you got a great deal & free dining. I booked a 4 nights at the WL Club level with 5 day Park hopper with dining for $2062 a courtyard was $1985 so it was worth it for me to do club level. I don't think it was great of a savings. But what you quoted it sounds good to me. Congrads !:cloud9:

I had a 40% off code and booked CSR for our family of 4. My TA switched it free dining when it cam e out and that saved us about 100 dollars more than the 40% off did. I think you have the best there is for a mod.:)

I'm pretty sure unless you are staying at a room for more than $170 + a night that no deal matches free dining except 40%, and then only if a certain number of people were going. 3 or less, 40%, 4 or 5, then free dining still beats 40% at a Mod.

This depends on the rack rates during your trip as well. 10 days is a lot so your meals would probably would "eat" into any savings you might have had if you ate the same way OOP. If you conserved, then it might be worth it if you were not planning to eat that much anyway.

Seahunt gave you some good numbers to work off of but only you know your habits and what you really want out of a vacation.

Good luck!:cool2:
