You can not compare MS to a thrill ride like a roller coaster. MS is what is affectionately known as a "spin n' puke". If you understand how the ride works, it just spins you around and around either feet first or head first to simulate being raised or pushed into your seat. Everyone has seen these rides at carnivals and amusement parks, the one that does nothing more than just spins.
I am a roller coaster junkie and have been on every roller coaster from Cedar Point to Busch Gardens and have never gotten sick on any of them. But I must say my stomach was not feeling the best after ridding MS. My DW felt the same way.
If, like me, you can't handle the rides that just spin and spin avoid this one and go on Soarin, cause thats where I'll be.

He's got motion sickness issues). I OTOH have never had motion sickness problems and felt awful after riding this. Needless to say, we can say we've done it once but won't be doing it again! Brutal. Give me Rock n' Roller coaster anyday!
That should tell you something.
And I hadn't even been on it! JMHO, don't sit in that spot while waiting for someone!
