Do all ticket holders have to present to upgrade a GAD?

We are FL res. family of 4 planning to upgrade our GAD (already used 5/9) to FL res. Dream Pass. Three of us will be going to EPCOT tomorrow and I plan to upgrade there. Can I take the 4th persons with me too or do they have to be present to do an upgrad? Just trying to save an upgrade hassle next weekend for the 4th person at Star Wars weekend because I know it will be crazy busy.

I might be a little confused. Did you say you have already used your GAD ticket? If so, it can no longer be upgraded as far as I am aware. Unless, you had the GAD and initially upgraded it to a ticket that will not expire and now you want to upgrade it to some other kind of ticket. As far as if all members have to be there, we were told yes and we also had to show a government ID with our passes. I hope this helps.

We have 14 days to do the upgrade and we were there 5/9...so we were all "fingerprinted" when we traded in our vouchers for the GAD passes. Now I have 4 passes that I need to upgrade before 5/21 and I'm wondering if we have to all be present to do the upgrade if my husband doesn't want to do EPCOT tomorrow.

OP, you can upgrade within 14 days of first use like you are thinking. But since you are upgrading to a FL resident ticket, I think your husband will have to go as well so he can show his ID. Unfortunately, I've never qualified for a FL ticket :sad2:, but I think all adults in particular have to show FL ID, especially since you are upgrading an already used ticket (i.e. not buying a voucher that will have to be activated by someone with FL ID).

Pure speculation on my part, though. :goodvibes I'm sure Cheshire Figment and Doconeil know for sure and will have the right answer. :)

Thanks, I need to just drag him there with me :). I really had such a perfect day Mother's Day at MK, I don't really NEED to go back, but it is such an incredible deal I feel like I HAVE to! I don't believe I will ever be able to get 3 Disney tickets for $20 again in my lifetime! Best part is we will be going back to MK on 5/25 to take my mom (grandma). It will be her first trip back to MK in 25 years and her first time there with her grandkids. My kids will not be so excited since we were just there, and we can take our time and have a nice relaxing day with Grandma.

Sounds like a wonderful trip! Enjoy! :goodvibes The FL Dream Pass is a great deal, especially when you can upgrade the GAD tickets.

For Florida Resdient tickets each person Age 18 or older must provide proof of Floida Residency. Family members under 18 do not have to show prrof, but they do have to be present.
