I have been looking for a cutting machine, and last night I found a barely used Cricut Expression with 4 cartridges!!! I pick it up today, and I am sure that after the learning curve it is going to change the way I scrap!!!

Not sure what Carts are with it, I figure I will play with what it comes with, then purchase what I need. I meet up with her at 3!

Paper Doll carts - I know there are 2 Dress up & Everyday - it is the extras that you want off of these - dolls are cute but lots of fun things on these 2
there is an old one called New Arrive (sp??) - baby cart

I like the thick fonts - they cut out better than the thin curly ones

I would ask if you can use SCAL or MTC on it since it is used it might work if you can find SCAL1 or SCAL2 - not sure which MTC but the older one on it too - new ones won't work on cricuts

Reddy, I am looking at the SCAL, how do I know if it will work on my Cricut?

it can't be the one sold on-line now - you have to find SCAL2 (or SCAL without a number for the first round of the program but you really want the second so you can have several pages)
it had to be set up before with it - I believe but not sure
I know the newer ones or the last updates are suppose to make it where it won't work
