Can someone pls help me understand step-by-step how this exactly works. I just received my Disney Magical express Trans. vouchers. Do you just look for the bus going to your resort and board it, or do you know if they look you up on a log to verify the hotel info., etc. I mean, how do you check in? BTW, we wil be going carry on only, so not using the transfer tags. TIA!

There is a desk that you must check in at. Read your docs- it tells you where in the airport it is.

They will set you up for your return trip as well at the desk when you first check in. Then they will tell you which line to get into based on what resort you are going to.

It's painless!

Ditto on the painless. We loved using ME. No tolls to pay and no parking to worry about. Sit back and enjoy the trip!

Disney will have plenty of signs and representatives to direct you to the check in area, it will also be noted on your ME documents. Very easy! Since you are just doing carryon, you obviously will not need to worry about the luggage tags. Last year, we booked at the last minute and didn't have any travel documents, it still was a cinch!

When you exit your plane, follow the directions in your DME booklet to get to the Disney Welcome Center. There are NO SIGNS in the airport directing you there ... strange but true. They are not permitted, by contract.

You get to the Disney Welcome Center and check-in ... this'll take less than a minute. You just get in line, show them your vouchers, and that's about it ... quick and painless. They show you to your bus queue, and when ready, your driver will show you to your bus. Easy. Each bus will go to up to 4 resorts, not just yours. The driver will announce each stop. It's all very very simple, no experience required!

Just have your vouchers in your hand when you go to check in. You'll need them, they will put a stamp on them in order to board the bus. There are individual lines for all the resorts, they are all labeled. Very easy. Keep the vouchers in your hand for the bus driver, he will need to see them. Thats it! Have fun!

To try and put this nicely, I don't appreciate that you just took advantage of the above posters, including me on trying to take advantage of this bus system. I saw your second post, you did not recieve vouchers, your friend recieved them and you'll be staying at Swan and Dolphin. So why did you lie to us? Not appreciated at all, don't cheat the system.

Never said anything about being stolen. Your friends got these vouchers for free. Nobody pays for them. You are not eligible to ride the buses, period.

DME is free of charge to guests staying at WDW run resorts. The vouchers weren't paid for and you're planning to cheat the system

Checking in at the DME desk will start the check in process for your friend. If they already checked in you may have a problem. If they arrive hours after you check in they may also have a problem.

I understand some people cheat and bend rules but don't insult our intelligence by saying you're not cheating the system when that's exactly what you're doing.

Oh - and have you given any thought to which member of your family you're going to leave home, or allow to fend for themselves from the airport?
