DME Rookie Question

So my DH and I are flying down on different days, and as I'll be getting there first and getting the rental car, we decided to get him DME so that my DS and I won't have to leave the park to pick him up at the airport. This is the first time we've ever used DME. When I called to arrange his transportation, I specifically said that only my DH needed DME, and that he was arriving on a day that was later than our arrival date. That being said, the DME package came today and not only does it have my name on it, it has my arrival date, not his. He's not going to have any luggage with him, but I'm just concerned that the date isn't his arrival date.
He IS listed on the reservation - even though it's in my name, but is it going to be an issue because his voucher has a different date?
I was just hoping my fellow dissers might have a faster answer than calling....

He will be fine and have no trouble at all. Give him the DME ticket and have him present it at the DME check in desk. He can explain to them what happen and they can look up the Disney reservation and see that he is listed on the room reservation and allow him to board the bus. He may have to show ID. So even though the ticket is dated with your arrival date and its in your name he will be fine.

What counts is that he has a reservation for his arrival date. Call again to be sure that his reservation is correct. If time permits try to get them to send out a corrected voucher, an email confirmation will have to do if time is short. At the very least, get and write down the name and city of the person you talk to.

You wouldn't get a packet in just his name. You are probably the lead person on the reservation, correct?? That would put your name on the vouchers/tags. It will be no problem for him to use DME when he gets to MCO. He just needs that voucher and he is good to go. The packet/voucher/tag will not have his actual arrival date on it......the reservation is based on the actual resort reservation....which means that anyone with a reservation to ride DME can do so at any time within the resort reservation dates.
So, it won't matter that he arrives a day later than you...he is good to go. Give him his voucher and he can board that bus!!!

Thanks for the replies everyone! When I had called to make the arrangements the CM seemed to totally "get" what I was trying to do so when it came with my info I was concerned. Seems like it's going to be fine though.

It will be fine. You are not the first guest to do this....it happens every day!!! Dh will be just fine. Have a great trip!!!
