DME Pickup Questions

Good evening!

We have a question re DME and the pick up time at the resort. Our flight leaves at 7:50AM from Orlando International. I have read on other threads that DME will pick you up anywhere from 3-3 1/2 hours before your flight time. However, I also remember that the check-in desk at the resort doesn't open until 5AM. With only a difference of 10 minutes, will we still be able to check in at BCV? This is assuming that for a 7:50 flight, we would get picked up around 4:50. Will we be able to check our bags at the resort, even if the desk doesn't open until 5AM? Will they haggle with us for only 10 minutes?!

Also, does anyone know what the pickup times are for DME at BCV?

You wont know your official pick up time until the night before your departure,
your bus will probably be picking up others at BWV and YC

I am not sure about checking you bags, it really just depends on if there is someone at the desk

It's still about three hours. Your pickup time will be around 4:50. It could end up being 4:45, or 5.

That will be the time the bus leaves the resort, so you likely won't have time to check your bags in if the desk opens at 5. You can ask the driver, but the usual deal with DME is that they will not wait for you.

If T-15 for the bus comes and you are waiting in the resort RAC line to check bags, then abort the check in and drag the bags to the DME bus platform.

You won't be able to use RAC because the process must be completed no less than 3 hours before your flight.

yep... and since 3 hours before the flight is 450am.... 10 minutes before opening, OP will have to take their bags with them to MCO....
