DME + NO Tags = No Problem

Although I don't think they have tried to get everyone's DME booklets sent, I've got to tell you our ME went great. We landed at MCO and by the time we got off the plane and used the restroom it was 2:30, we did not claim our luggage and went to find a DME CM. By 3:00 we were sitting on our buss waiting to go to our hotel. Check in at the *** was very long and after we finally got in our room we dropped off our carry ons and headed out for Epcot and dinner. When we got back to our room our luggage was all there. The morning of our return flight I went to the guest services desk and they printed out our boarding passes for SWA and later we went to the DME pick up with our luggage and went to MCO and home with no problems. If you have not received your ME booklet don't let it worry you.

Glad to hear a great report. We are not going to the parks on check in day, but plan to enjoy the resort. I will need my luggage right away, so we are opting to NOT use the tags at all and will pull our own luggage and take it with us on the ME bus. This way I KNOW where it is at all times and will avoid a potential problem.

Did you mark you luggage in any special way besides normal tags?

Do they let you take it all with you? I didnt know that was an option.
