I added our flight info for DME online about two weeks ago. I got home today and had two pieces of mail from DME - the packet and the yellow tags but in separate envelopes. We are arriving on 11/14. The dates are correct on all the DME stuff too. What's ironic is that I called yesterday to verify they had my correct info because I was having Internet issues when I added it a few weeks ago. The CM on the phone said they did NOT have my flight info and added it again.

Did I miss something where DME packets are being sent out at 90 days now? Should I be concerned?

I got mine super-early, too. Even reported it in the DME/luggage tags sticky thread for posterity's sake. :)

By the way, if the flight information is missing, the vouchers are still good to use, going to your resort.

Returning to the airport, you need a confirmed bus time. This can be arranged when you get to the welcoming area, or later if your plans or your flight or your convenience should change. The normal deadline is morning of the day before the day you will go back to the airport.

We are going in 35 days:cheer2:and got Mickey Mail yesterday. Our DME luggage tags as well as mickey tags were in the packet. They didn't have the flight info for DH as the CM only added me so I called and he was added. I am wondering if I am going to get the vouchers. Now I'm worried as you received yours 90 days out.:confused3

Don't be worried. Our early mailings are either a fluke or something new. Closer to the trip is more usual and normal.

We got our DME mail much earlier than usual for out trip back in March, so it seems they are doing this now.:)

Even though I have my very well-organized Disney binder, I still get nervous about losing things before the trip. I have a lock-box that I keep all of my important cards (DVC member card, AP/PH tix, TIW card, Disney Visa Reward cards, and gift cards) in and then I have a photo copy of the front and back of all of them that I keep in my binder. I have those plastic sheets that are used for holding trading cards in my binder so the cards all get placed in there when it is time to travel. The longer I have to hold on to them, the more nervous I get about losing them so if I have to wait until 30 days out for my DME stuff, I'm OK with that. I usually get it about 6 weeks in advance.

I've already started looking for my envelope. To me it means that we are getting closer ! Arriving 10/31 and nothing yet. Last year came right around Labor Day. It does seem they are mailing them sooner.

DME info says to expect your packet about 40 days prior to travel. I just booked my Dec DME ride.....and that is what the info said. I got my DME packet for my early Sept trip about a month out. That seems to be the norm.
Yes, you could get your packet early but you can also get it much closer to your trip as well. I have a trip planned for mid-Nov, with DME. Haven't seen anything for that trip and don't expect to until late Sept/early Oct.

We arrive in 32 days and just got a packet yesterday. A welcome change from the past couple of years where we had to call 2 weeks out and get our packet and tags expressed to us because for some reason they kept getting our address wrong.

We had to call 3 times last year and got our stuff the day before we left.
