DME: arriving a day later than room check-in?

I may be taking a trip with some friends soon (a family). They would be driving down and arriving on Saturday, so that would be the check-in date on the room (probably a cabin at Ft. Wilderness). I would be flying, but because of work, I wouldn't be able to go until at least Sunday. Will I still be able to use DME if I call and tell them the flight information for Sunday? I think they say you're supposed to use it on the check-in day of the reservation, but no one will actually be using it that day.

As long as your name is on the reservation at the resort, you can use ME. It doesn't matter when the check in is for the resort. You just have to give them your name and flight number.

As long as you are a registered guest you can use DME any day including check-in up to departure day for transportation from MCO to the registered hotel. Departure can be any day from day of check-in to day of check-out.

Now my only problem is that we'd be using my travel agent rate and I wouldn't be there the first day. I hope they don't give me grief for that!
