I am really torn as to what to do for shuttle to/from LAX and I know w/a arrival at LAX at 9am it may be 10am DLRE but i have read horrible reviews about the supershuttle which was my original plan. So, I had this wild hare of an idea :lmao: what if we do DLRE get off at the Disneyland Hotel, walk up through DTD to BWPPI?? Does anyone think it may be faster than waiting for them to drive us?? It will just be me and DD14 and we will just have the one piece of luggage and a carry-on. We could even stop for lunch at whitewater snacks on the way. ;) Any thoughts? Or should I just do the supershuttle?? I am so confused.... TYIA

The only problem I can think of is that to go through DTD all the way to Harbor you're going to have to pass through the security checks at the esplanade. If you have your luggage, you're going to have to let them paw through it, even if you're not going into the parks.

What problems have you heard of with Super Shuttle?

My experience is different. Security is used to folks coming thru the Esplanade with luggage and if all you want to do is cross the Esplanade and not go into a park, they will get a CM to escort you across without ever opening your luggage. I did this last summer myself on the way from DTD to CCI.

Why not stay on DLE until it drops off at the curb near your hotel on HArbor?

If your plane lands at 9 and you have to go get luggage, a 10am bus might be good timing.

The thing I pefer about SS is that they pick you up when you're ready. I have had no problems with SS.

Are you going into the parks on your arrival day? I'm not sure I'd want to spend time walking through DTD and then to my hotel when I could get dropped at my hotel, leave my luggage, and then head into the parks.

We have used Super Shuttle on our last 3 trips with no problems at all, always on time but that was out of SNA
