Just a reminder that DLR no longer prints the Portable Perks. You may want to pull an electronic copy of the discounts to your phones before heading out to the parks.
DVC is offered a 10% Dining Discount at most dining locations except where it isn't (helpful, right?). We ran into one of those odd exceptions early in our day yesterday and went in search of a Portable Perks to guide the remainder of the day. We learned that the last printed copy ended Dec 2013. The exception we encountered even surprised the the DVC kiosk staff!

Our visit was near perfect!
Other than that, it was a lovely day yesterday visiting both Disneyland and California Adventure parks. The fall decorations were fun and the crowds were a good level -- nothing crazy. Ride times were between "walk on" (Ariel's) and an hour (for the majors). We rode Zephyr for our 'first time ever' (walk on) and generally averaged <30 wait times. We enjoyed lots of conversation with those around us largely prompted by the black "sticks" we were carrying from the Big Hero 6 preview, "Hey, what are those things we see so many carrying? Why do you have them? Where did you get them?"

A lovely day all around!

Can't speak to DLR, but at WDW I know they stopped putting them in every check-in package. I thought you could still ask for one at the front desk, though. Didn't realize they'd stopped doing that.

I like to have one in hardcopy when we pool hop. It's the one perk that most Disney Cast Members don't seem to know about. If you don't have it in writing, you'll often be told you're not allowed to do it.
