DLR Meet: May 6th - 11th

My apologies to everyone if my post was the cause for the removal of the original thread, as my intentions were merely that of catching up to speed and ironing out some confusion. The meet is still on, Cowboys_Girl will follow up with a post, and I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC time

I had stated that I just recently underwent "unexpected" surgery and as it turns out, my breast cancer has returned. The Dr stated that it would be alright for me to go to DLR and that when I returned, then the radiation therapy would start. However, I have decided that my health is more important and at this time I can not afford anymore added stress.

I am truly going to miss this GREAT chance to meet everyone, but hopefully in the future I will be able to attend another one.

Thank you all for the prayers, thoughts and good wishes This was an extremely difficult decision for me to make, as it has been 17 yrs since I was last at DLR and I was so excited about the trip. Heck, it was not even called DLR back then, just plain ole Disneyland

I too hope that there will be another chance for me to make a trip down there and I just want to wish everyone a FANTASTIC time

Someone tell Tigger, if you see him, his #1 fan hopes to see him soon

I will be the first to admit I am saddened by Tigger's departure from our trip, however I am not the first due to the fact that I am lazy and even though she told you all I would post here I have not until now, LOL.

For those who were waiting the info has not changed.

I believe Car is still going into the park Sunday when she gets into town and then Jegrezo if you are still good you can join my mommy and I at Rainforest in DTD and then we can go into the park for fireworks after we eat.

Tuesday whoever is coming the meet is still on at VMK central at 11:00ish. I say "ish" like it's a word by itself all the time. I am not known for my punctuality so 11:00, 11:15, 11:30 you know around then, VMK central we'll meet ya.

Anyone else that I have discussed getting together with privately as far as I know nothing has changed. Oh except my hair which is now brown and pretty friggin dark. People at my daughters daycare who see me every day apparently don't recognize me from a distance, LOL.

To Tigger, you will be missed immensely

Lyn I'm so sorry about your cancer coming back, and just when you were looking forward to a great time! I'm sure last week was stressful for you and I would have been there had you needed an ear. I don't know the effect a day can make, but trust your doctors and you will know what the best route to take is. DLR won't go away, but we want those nasty cells to disappear forever!

I'm looking forward to a super Sunday touring Hollywood and seeing DLR for the first time! If there are any that were hoping to meet up for fireworks let Stacey or I know so we can look for you.

Tuesday will be full of more new faces, and I expect you all to be looking just like those virtual friends I've come to appreciate look! You'll all know who I am, lol!

Parrot we will see you on Wed for a much anticipated experience. Should I bring some Sudoku for your mom while we all talk vmk? Just kidding. We can talk vmk any day, this is a time to get to know the life behind the keyboard.

Today is my last full day to be ready since we have a wedding tomorrow and...I haven't started packing! I'm happy to hear that y'all are casual, because that's my life. Never so casual that I dont start packing earlier, but things have been crazy, and it's just me to pack for so I'm not too worried.

Car - I don't know about Sunday night fireworks yet, have to taxi my son to a few things on that day. But I should be able to make it to the meet on Tuesday.
